Also have 14 different cooking setting programs right in, the dual actually has both a high and low pressure setting.
While the locks that we mentioned earlier only has the one also has a few slight improvements in terms of design as well.
Such as a place to store the lid on the side of the pot, a steaming rack with handles and improve lid design.
Now with those extra features you’re going to pay a little bit more but honestly, it’s definitely worth it for the convenience and this is a really great beginner instant pot.
#3. Instant Pot Duo Nova
Now like the duo it does combine seven appliances into one device, pressure cooker, sauté pan, steamer, slow cooker, rice cooker, food warmer and yogurt maker.
But one big improvement compared to the duo Nova is the design of the lid in this instant pot.
It has a smart steam release valve which means the steam release valve automatically closes when you close the lid so you don’t have to worry about whether you remember to seal the valve or whether or not you positioned it correctly.
So, with that simple feature alone we do highly recommend this especially for those of you who aren’t necessarily familiar with Instant Pot cooking.
#4. Instant Pot Duo Plus
This is a bit of an upgrade from the regular duo.
For those who want to make recipes like yogurts and desserts, they’ll probably appreciate these added features.
It has a few extra programs and this is actually a nine in one device with settings including pressure cooker, slow cooker, cooking rice, yogurt maker, cake/egg maker, sauté/searing machine, and steamer, warmer and sterilized.
And, it also has 15 built in programs.
It does come with a large big beautiful LCD display and status icons to indicate the cooker status.
Now this option definitely feels a bit more premium.
And if you really want to make sure that you’re not limited to what you can cook then definitely check this one out.
#5. Instant Duo SV
The dual SV comes in six quarts and it’s actually really cool because it can replace at least 10 kitchen appliances.
It has 14 programs including pressure cook meat /stew bean/ chili, soup broth, slow cook, sauté rice, multigrain, porridge, steam, sous vide, yogurt and keep warm.
Another really cool feature is it has an extra sealing ring that helps keep your food flavor separate as well as a stainless-steel rack measuring cup serving utensils and silicone mitts so you don’t burn yourself when removing stuff and instant pot.
So, if you’re looking for an instant pot that truly does it all.
Then definitely check out the Instant Pot duo SV.
#6. Instant Pot Viva
Now this one comes in two separate sizes you can get six quarter eight quarts as well as a variety of different color options.
And this is actually a nine in one device.
Pressure Cooker, slow cooker, sauté pan, rice/porridge cooker, steamer, yogurt maker, warmer, cake maker and sterilizer.
It also has 15 built in programs.
The Instapot Viva is similar to the duo plus except it doesn’t have the blue display screen and status icons but it is a fantastic option again if you’re looking to test the waters in the world of instant pot.
#7. Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus
The duo Evo plus acts as a pressure cooker, rice cooker, slow cooker, yogurt maker, steamer, sous vide, sauté, food warmer and cake maker.
It does have that nice large LCD screen and unlike many other instant pots, its inner pot can go in the stovetop so you can use the inner pot as a stock pot as well.
This one has a great form factor and the pot has handles for easy transferring between the stove and the instant pot.
This one is really a great option if you’re interested more so and making soups and desserts.

Now this one’s a bit of a higher tier instant pot with 10 functions and 16 built in programs but this one you can use it for Super broth, meat or stew beans and chili, cake egg, slow cooking, sauté and searing Rice, multi grains, porridge, steam, sterilized, yogurt, warm, pressure cooker and ultra.

Now this one’s definitely for somebody who’s interested in more advanced recipes.

And this is a great all in one device.
This can pretty much do everything and is ideal for chefs who are doing a lot of pressure cooking.
Whether you’re fermenting ingredients, cooking steak, sous vide, simmering a sauce, boiling pasta, pressure cooking, chicken or searing your finished products.
The max actually controls the amount of air in the pot and releases as much air as possible for faster and better cooking.
This will even work as a canner which is a pretty cool feature.

And this one’s really cool because as it says in the name,
it connects to Wi-Fi and you can use it via phone in the Instant Pot app.
What’s cool about this is it has preprogrammed recipes and alerts that make cooking even easier.
It also has that LCD display, and it can connect to Alexa and Google assistant for voice control.
This one has 13 different built-in programs and it’s very sleek and stylish.
